What this talk is about
The primary reason that Jesus came was to deal with sin. He came so that we could be set free from sin and the works of the devil. This talk this week looks at the reasons for being set free from sin, why we are freed, and how this process works.
God will not work with sinners. But Jesus sets us free from sin so that God will work with us to bring us to perfection in Christ.
Occasionally there are questions why I use this meeting format. If you wish to know more, check out this link that explains the scriptural references and reasons why every item mentioned is included.

7. Communion/Breaking of Bread Service
23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
8. Operation of Spiritual Gifts.
27 If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn; and let one interpret. 28 But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silence in church and speak to himself and to God. 29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said. (1 Corinthians 14:27-29)
9. Anointing with oil for the sick
13 Is any one among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 15 and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:13-15)
